Family Traditions
My Home Furnishing began in 2013. Combined, our management has over 100 years of history and experience in the furniture industry. Our families have a long history in the furniture industry dating back to 1902. Our families have worked with many well-known brands including Bassett, Pulaski, Stanley, Vaughan, and Vaughan-Bassett. Our fathers, grandfathers, uncles, brothers, sisters, and cousins over the years have been instrumental in the success of these companies. We believe we have taken the best practices and habits of our history to bring our customers timeless designs, and quality furniture as well as paying particular attention to construction and safety. We offer top-quality products under efficient U.S. management. It's a quality you'll not only see but appreciate. We look forward to continuing to build our company on our family heritage and offering high-quality products to our retailers and consumers.
A Century of Furniture Heritage
Our families have and continue to be heavily involved in the manufacturing and selling of furniture since the industry boom in the early 1900's. Shown here are some of family and employees at Stanley Furniture Company in the late 1920's.
Strong Influences
Our management has grown up under some the greatest mentors and leaders within the industry. Shown here is Mr. T.B. Stanley and
Mr .Robert Holsclaw of Stanley Furniture Company. They celebrated the same birthday and this was near their retirement. Two of our owners were direct relatives.
Early Roots
Shown here is Mr. O.C. Clark. He was brother-in-law to Mr. Holsclaw, Plant Superintendent at Stanley Furniture, First Plant Manager with Pulaski Furniture and plant manager Vaughan-Bassett furniture at his retirement..
1950's start-up
Shown here is the first boxcar load of furniture being shipped from Pulaski Furniture in the early 1950's. Just as our families before us, we are continuing our family's tradition to bring great designs and product to our customers
